Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Anfertigen eines Schnittmusters unter Berücksichtigung von Abweichungen der Körpermaße von der Normalfigur durch vergleichendes Auswerten einer die Umrißlinien der Person mit den Umrißlinien der Normalfigur in einer einen passenden Sitz des herzustellenden Kleidungsstücks ermöglichenden Weise. Nach dem bekannten Verfahren dieser Art wird die Person, für die ein Kleidungsstück gefertigt werden soll, hinter eine durchsichtige Platte gestellt, die mit möglichen Abweichungen entsprechenden Skalenstrichen versehen ist, und photographiert. Aufgenommen werden muß diese Person mindestens zweimal, weil mindestens eine Vorderansicht und eine Seitenansicht der Person benötigt wird. Voraussetzung ist, daß derjenige, der die Person photographiert, gute Kenntnisse der Auswertungsmöglichkeiten besitzt; denn werden die Skalenstriche der durchsichtigen Platte nicht richtig mit den Umrißkonturen der aufzunehmenden Person in Deckung gebracht, dann kann der Zuschneider mit den hergestellten Aufnahmen nichts anfangen. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren zum Anfertigen eines Schnittmusters zur Verfügung zu stellen, das die Nachteile des zuerst genannten Verfahrens vermeidet und die Vorteile des an zweiter Stelle genannten Verfahrens benutzt. Zur Lösung: dieser Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, eine durchsichtige, mit möglichen Abweichungen entsprechenden Skalenstrichen versehene Platte derart auf das oder die Photos der Person bzw. eine das oder die Photos wiedergebende Mattscheibe aufzulegen, daß übereinstimmende Punkte oder eingezeichnete Linien, wie die Nackenpunkte der photographischen Abbildung bzw. der Platte, auf der zusätzlich die Kontur oder Teile der entsprechenden Nörmalfigur markiert sein können, zur Deckung kommen und die Skalenstriche der Platte soweit wie möglich mit den Konturen der Abbildung der Person übereinstimmen, und darauf die Abweichungen zur Korrektur des Schnittmusters durch Skalenablesen entnommen werden. Durch diese Anweisung wird erreicht, daß die aufzunehmende Person rasch abgefertigt werden kann, ohne daß dadurch das Meßergebnis beeinträchtigt wird.
