Die auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellte Vorrichtung hat den Zweck, das Austreten von Gasen an Stopfbuchsen der Kompressoren von Kälteerzeugungsmaschinen zu verhindern. Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Doppelkonus mit cylindrischer Bohrung und zwischenliegender Gaskammer. Der Konus α schliefst in dein Stopfbuchsenhals des vorderen Kompressordeckels, der Konus b in einem besonderen, dem Kreuzkopf zugekehrten Stopfbuchsenaufsatz c. Beide Theile α b sind mit Weifsmetall ausgefüttert und in der Längsrichtung geschlitzt, so dafs beim Anziehen der Schrauben dd ihre innere cylindrische Seite sich fest um die Kolbenstange schmiegt. Ein in der Gaskammer e angebrachtes Ventil f steht vermittelst eines Röhrchens mit der Saugeleitung des Kompressors in Verbindung und hat den Zweck, das mit der Kompressorkolbenstange verschleichende Gas in die Saugeleitung des Kompressors zurückzuführen.
