Bei den bisherigen Schuhen, bei welchen an dem sogenannten Spanntheil ein elastischer Zwickel, (Gummizug) vorgesehen ist, besteht der Uebelstand, dafs der Gummizug sich nicht überall mit gleicher Spannung anlegt, vielmehr an einer Stelle einen starken, an anderen dagegen einen ganz geringen oder gar keinen Zug ausübt. Das Schuhwerk hat daher über dem Spann und überhaupt um das Fufsgelenk herum einen schlechten Sitz. Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt die Beseitigung dieses Uebelstandes, indem ein Gummizug oder elastischer Zwickel zur Verwendung kommt, welcher über dem ganzen Spann gleichmäfsig anliegt und welcher an allen Stellen senkrecht zur Mitte des Spannes die gleiche Zugkraft äufsert.
