Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zur Übertragung von Ultraschall mit Ultraschallwandlern, die durch eine federnde Andruckplatte gegen den Boden des Ultraschallempfängers gedrückt werden, z. Bei diesen Bauarten ist die Verbindungsschicht großen Wechselkräften hoher Frequenzen (20 bis 40 kHz) ausgesetzt. Damit in der Verbindungsschicht durch auftretende mechanische Verluste möglichst wenig Leistung verbraucht wird, soll diese Schicht dünn sein. Zu diesem Zweck haben sich warmhärtende Leime auf der Basis von Äthoxylinharzen als besonders geeignet erwiesen. In der Praxis stellt es sich jedoch heraus, daß mit diesem Kunststoff oder etwaigen anderen warmhärtenden Kunststoffen mit entsprechenden physikalischen Eigenschäften hergestellte Leimverbindungen hinsichtlich ihrer Haftung empfindlich gegen hohe relative Feuchtigkeit sind. Eine hohe relative Feuchtigkeit tritt jedoch in der Umgebung eines Reinigungsgerätes, in dem häufig Wasser als Reinigungsflüssigkeit verwendet wird, auf. Unter der Einwirkung dieser Feuchtigkeit können sich die Leimnähte lösen.
