Die Schlauchverschraubungen, welche bei Feuerspritzen und Wasserleitungen verwendet werden, sind nach Angabe des Erfinders am oberen Theil der Schraube, in beiliegender Zeichnung bei x, abgedichtet. Diese Dichtung drückt sich beim Festschrauben sehr leicht in das Gewinde der Mutter ein, welche dann kaum zu drehen ist. Man mufs dann, um die Schlauchverschraubung überhaupt gangbar zu machen, Gewalt anwenden, wodurch dieselbe in vielen Fällen gänzlich unbrauchbar wird.
