Erreicht wird dies gemäß der Erfindung dadurch, daß Fördervorrichtung und Leistung der Pumpe zum Fördern des Belebtschlammes aus dem Nachklärbecken in das Belüftungsbecken, die auf der umlaufenden Brücke angeordnet sein kann, derart sind, daß das Wasser des Belüftungsbeckens in eine Strömungsbewegung entgegen der Drehrichtung der Pumpe gesetzt wird. Auf diese Weise wird die Zeit verkürzt, die zwischen zwei Beschickungen der gleichen Wassermenge mit Rücklaufschlamm liegt. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 mit einer um den Mittelpunkt des Vorklärbeckens umlaufenden Brücke, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Pumpe (5) auf der Brücke angeordnet ist. 3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei Verwendung einer die gesamten Becken überspannenden Brücke zu beiden Seiten des Drehpunktes der Brücke je eine Pumpe (5) angeordnet ist.
