Bisher wurden die Ständer elektrischer Maschinen, besonders von Wechselstrommotoren, in der Weise aufgebaut, dafs die Bleche durch ein gufseisernes Gehäuse oder durch Bolzen, welche die Bleche durchquerten, in ihrer Lage zusammengehalten wurden. Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt, die gufseisernen Gehäuse und die durchgehenden Bolzen, welche einen beträchtlichen Materialaufwand an Blechscheiben bedingen, zu vermeiden. Bei derartig gebauten Maschinen wird daher nur ein Minimum an Blech verbraucht, wodurch gleichzeitig die elektrischen und magnetischen Eisenverluste stark vermindert werden, während durch den Fortfall der gufseisernen Gehäuse zugleich die Wärmeausstrahlung begünstigt wird.
