Claims (2)
- Pa tent-Ansprüche:ι . Verfahren zur Ueberführung von Holz, Sägespähnen und anderem cellulosehaltigem Material in Zucker, darin bestehend, dafs man das Material in geschlossenen Druckgefäfsen mit Chlorwasser bei einer Temperatur von 120 bis 1450 erhitzt und alsdann schweflige Säure oder andere Verbindungen des Schwefels, welche mit Chlor unter Bildung von Schwefelsäure sich zersetzen, in den Autoclaven einführt.
- 2. Die Abänderung des in Anspruch 1 gekennzeichneten Verfahrens dahin, dafs man die Inversion bei einer niedrigeren Temperatur bewirkt, als die vorangegangene Aufschliefsung des Materials mit dem Chlor.
