Um das Eindrücken der Knöpfe mittelst Einschlagmaschinen, wie dies bei der letztgenannten Befestigungsart sich nothwendig macht, zu umgehen, wendete man Knöpfe an, welche aus mehreren Theilen zusammengesetzt werden und deren federnde Theile die Befestigung am Stoffe sichern (sogenannter Junggesellenknopf).
