Dieser Strom ist praktisch unabhängig von Erhöhungen der Stromstärke infolge von Stromstößen, beispielsweise beim Anlassen von Motoren. Im dargestellten Schaltungsbeispiel sind die Stromwandler 3 an ein statisches Relais 4 angeschlossen, dessen Eingang auf die Überwachungsfrequenz abgestimmte Filter enthält.
