Die vorliegende Mischmaschine ist geeignet, ein ganz besonders gutes Durcheinandermischen verschiedenartiger Körner und pulverförmiger Materialien zu bewirken.The present mixer is capable of particularly good blending of various grains and powdery materials.

Die Buchstaben abc bezeichnen ein aus den beiden Kränzen α und b und den radialen Wänden c bestehendes horizontales Mischrad, welches sich mittelst einer Nabe d lose um die Welle e drehen kann und mit den Unterkanten seiner ringförmigen Wände α b ganz dicht auf dem Tisch f schleift. Der äufsere Kranz α ist mit Laufrollen g ausgerüstet, welche zum Tragen des Mischrades dienen und auf einer kreisförmigen Bahn h sich abwälzen können. Zur Lagerung der Welle η dient aufser dem Bock 0 ein zweiter Bockj?, welcher in der aus Fig. 2 ersichtlichen Weise über den Tisch f im Bogen hinweggreift ;> oberhalb des Mischrades sind in der aus Fig. 1 ersichtlichen Weise die Fülltrichter q q1 q2 angeordnet, welche die beispielsweise drei verschiedenen zu mischenden Materialien aufnehmen. In der Fig. 2 sind diese Füll- und Zuführungstrichter horizontal geschnitten. Die radialen Wände c sind nicht so hoch, wie die Kränze, α und b, sondern nur so hoch, als das Mischrad mit dem einen Material gefüllt werden' soll. Die Fuge r, welche zwischen der Oberkante des. Mischrades und der Unterkante der Fülltrichter verbleiben mufs, kann zweckmäfsig durch Bleche s abgedichtet werden, welche an den Wänden der Fülltrichter in der aus Fig. 1 und 3 ersichtlichen Weise festsitzen, gegen die einander zugekehrten senkrechten Flächen der beiden Kränze α und b aber nicht schleifen. Man kann die sämmtlichen Fülltrichter q bis q2 mit horizontalen Schiebern versehen, welche bei der Inbetriebsetzung der Maschine das zu mischende Material in das Mischrad fallen lassen. Diese Schieber sind jedoch nicht unbedingt nothwendig und daher aus der Zeichnung fortgelassen. Bei Fortlassung der Schieber gestaltet sich die Inbetriebsetzung der Maschine derart, dafs man, wenn t (Fig. 2 und 3) die Drehungsrichtung des Mischrades ist, zunächst q2 vollständig mit Material anfüllt, welches-dann auch alle, beispielsweise in Fig. 2 vier Fächer, welche durch die Radialwände c gebildet werden, sofort ganz anfüllt bezw. das ganze Mischrad, so weit es sich unterhalb von q2 befindet, bis oben hin füllt. Das auf diese Weise theils im Mischrade, .theils im Trichter q2 befindliche Material bildet eine einzige zusammenhängende Masse, wie durch die Fig. 3 auch angedeutet wird. Man dreht jetzt das Mischrad so weit in der Richtung des Pfeiles f, dafs die vier gefüllten Fächer u unter den Trichter q1 gelangen.
