Wicklung an ihren Stirnflächen teilweise umgreift.
Flashover-proof small transformer For small transformers

Direct flashover between the windings can be prevented by using insulating foils
and a shielding film separated from each other. However, the insulating foils are not allowed
be too thick so that they don't restrict the changing area too much. The danger of one
The flashover is greatest at the front edges of the windings between the two sides
layers adjacent to the shielding film. The insulating foils are therefore at their ends
provided with a feathering and made so long that the feathering the
Winding partially encompassed at their end faces. However, a rollover occurs
in this case, within the remaining air gaps, so this measure
cannot have sufficient success.
It is already known for larger transformers, between each

fused together under the influence of heat. However, this method can only be used

It is also known to have windings on a pipe made of thermoplastic

On the other hand, it is known for small transformers, the bobbin

collar-shaped parts formed recess. There is an insulating film around the primary winding
that extends over the collar-shaped parts to the flanges,
and the secondary winding is applied to this film. The creep path for one
The flashover from the primary winding to the secondary winding is longer here,
however, small air gaps with a high field strength remain between the collar and the insulating film.
If the voltages are sufficiently high, a flashover can still take place along this gap.
In addition, in this design, the winding space for the primary winding is through

Another known small transformer is used for the primary winding
and the secondary winding uses concentrically superimposed bobbins.
The coil body for the secondary winding is divided and lies on top of the

which must fit together exactly, a very complicated shape, so this execution
is relatively expensive.

is used. Shielding and insulating foils are placed between the windings in a known manner

B. in bekannter Weise in seiner
An exemplary embodiment for a winding of a transformer with primary and secondary windings implemented according to the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. The bobbin 3 is z. B. divided in a known manner in its longitudinal plane, so that it can be placed on the iron core, not shown, of the transformer and wound after joining the parts. Before winding begins, an insulating film 5 is wrapped around the bobbin. Then along the two flanges 1 and 2 of the S, pulley body rubber rings 6, in the example of the drawing three superposed rings, are placed. The rings are so elastic that they can be pulled over the flanges of the spool. After the rings have been applied, the primary winding 4 is wound in a known manner. The rings 6 reach a little higher than the winding 4. An insulating film 7 is then wound around the rubber rings and the winding 4 , for example in a position that overlaps at the beginning and the end. The shielding film 8, for example made of copper, is placed on this insulating film, and the insulating film 9 and finally the secondary winding 10 are applied over it. During the winding process, the foils 7, 8, 9 are pressed together and exert concentric pressure on the rubber rings 6. These are deformed as a result and completely fill all the air gaps between the film 5 and the film 7. The winding 4 is thus enclosed in an airtight space so that flashovers through air gaps are excluded. The breakdown voltage of the insulating film is the only decisive factor for the flashover protection. The rings 6 can be selected to be relatively narrow in relation to the length of the winding 4 , so that they only slightly restrict the winding space.
aufbringen lassen.Instead of the rings 6, flanges made of elastic insulating material,
z. B. rubber, may be used, optionally in the longitudinal plane of the bobbin
are divided so that they are on the already assembled bobbin
get applied.
While the insulating foil 5 can consist of the hard material customary for such foils, it is advisable to use soft foils as foils 7 and 9, since hard foils are very brittle and the deformation occurring on the edges of the rubber parts when the winding 10 is pulled may occur would not stand it. If there is strong concentric pressure on the rubber parts, such foils could be sheared off. This risk does not exist when soft films, ie films that are z. B. treated with plasticizer can be used. The insulating strength of such films is then no longer as great as that of the hard films. This disadvantage can be eliminated by drying the windings in a high vacuum with the application of heat after completion. Here, the plasticizer is driven out of the foils so that they practically achieve the insulating strength of hard insulating foils. If necessary, the second winding 10 can also be enclosed at the end faces by elastic insulating materials, for example to prevent flashovers to the iron core. In this case, a further insulating film is placed over the second winding and, for example, bandages are provided on the end faces in order to exert concentric pressure on the elastic insulating materials below.
