Description
The invention relates to a wall component for car bodies of motor vehicles, consisting of shells connected to one another in pairs, one of which is provided with cup-like depressions and the other has a substantially uniformly continuous surface, the shells are connected to each other at the depressions.
Such a wall component is known as a floor for motor vehicles. Both shells exist made of sheet metal and are connected to one another at the depressions by spot welding. It is still known to produce wall components made of plastic. These can e.g. B. from individual, similarly trained and shells glued to one another. Furthermore, plastic wall parts are also made several shells known, at least one of which is profiled. The mutual connection of these shells is done by screwing or riveting. Apart from the fact that screws or rivets have an additional Represent weight expenditure, they are also foreign bodies in the plastic part. Besides, it is in this case and also with spot welding it is necessary that the connection point is accessible from both sides is what has to be taken into account in the construction.
The invention is concerned with the task of connecting the shells in type and training to adapt the selected material. This task is thereby achieved in the case of the wall components mentioned at the beginning solved that when using plastic shells, the bottom surfaces of the wells of the one Shell combined in a manner known per se by an adhesive bond with the other shell and the Combination surfaces with a staggered arrangement of the depressions in their entirety approximately equal to the remaining ones are free areas between the wells.
von KraftfahrzeugenSince adhesive connections are known per se, the essence and advantage of the design according to the invention do not lie solely in the creation of a planar connection instead of a point connection. Rather, what is achieved is that when joining two or, in particular, more than two shells, the connecting surfaces between each two shells are always the same, regardless of which side of the shell provided with depressions lies on top of one another; because, according to the invention, the pairs of shells can also be connected to one another at the surface parts remaining between the depressions. The construction of a wall component is therefore no longer subject to any restrictions in this regard, especially as the need for a wall component for car bodies
of motor vehicles

There is no mutual accessibility of the connection points. Due to the staggered arrangement of the connection points, an even distribution of the connection points is also achieved. The component gets the same or approximately the same section modulus in all bending axes.
The shape of the recesses is expediently chosen so that they are from a polygonal opening in pass over a circular bottom. The two pairs of shells can also have a substantially continuous intermediate shell be connected to each other. It can also be on one or both sides Cover shells are available. This inventive training the inner shell with the Outer shell connected without visibility from the outside and without affecting the structure at the connection point. The outer shell can therefore easily form the outer wall of the body.
The wall thickness is split in a known manner, d. i.e., the wall component is made from several shells, one of which is used to form the outer skin, the other on the other hand with profiling or with partial change of the surface course by regular indentations forms the inner shell. The full wall thickness is present at the connection points, in between the inner wall is branched off to form a hollow body.
Diese Randleiste durchschneidet die in ihrer Nähe liegenden napfartigen Vertiefungen, wo-The shell provided with the depressions can have a raised bar as an edge termination, which merges with a sloping side wall into a flange-like strip.
