Das Verfahren besteht darin, dafs das ungereinigte Gas, bevor dasselbe durch den Scrubber und Wascher geleitet wird, mit Luft erhitzt wird, welche mit dem Schwefel des Gases, durch Einwirkung der Hitze, in Wasser lösliche Schwefelverbindungen bildet.The procedure consists in letting the unpurified gas pass through the scrubber and scrubber is passed, heated with air, which is mixed with the sulfur of the gas, through Exposure to heat forms sulfur compounds soluble in water.
