JAKOB HAHN in INGÜLSTADT. Holzsägemaschine.JAKOB HAHN in INGÜLSTADT. Wood sawing machine.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 21. April 1899 ab.Patented in the German Empire on April 21, 1899.
Nach vollendetem Schnitte wird der Hebel η in derThe subject matter of the present invention is a transportable wood sawing machine which saws the wood dressed in log shape in such a way that four pieces of wood are obtained at the same time, which correspond to the usual length ratios. This machine is intended to save strength and work. Fig. 1 of the drawings shows a front view, while Fig. 2 shows a side view. A crankshaft c is mounted in a bearing b on a carriage frame α; this crankshaft c "is provided with three mutually staggered cranks d provided. Of these cranks the coupling rods cause e after the saw blades f which are h at the point with the coupling rods e hingedly connected. The saw blades f are now by peculiar shaped bracket i on the Shaft g ", which is mounted in the front part of the car, is rotatably arranged so that when the crankshaft c is rotated by the crank mechanism ce, the saws f perform reciprocating movements, as indicated in the drawing by the arrow direction. By arranging three such saws on a shaft in connection with corresponding crank mechanisms of the crankshaft c it is now achieved that the work piece stored in the supports m is simultaneously divided into four parts. The following device is used in order to be able to readjust the saws for the respective cutting depths. The bearing of the shaft g 'is arranged displaceably in a slide k , and this displacement takes place in such a way that a linkage coupled to the shaft g is rotatably mounted in point / so that when the lever η is pulled in the X direction, a lowering occurs the shaft and thus the saws, while the tightening of the lever η in the F-direction leads to the saws being raised. This adjustability of the saw blades by the mentioned lever arrangement can, however, also be achieved automatically, in such a way that the shaft g is sufficiently weighted at its ends by weights or the like, so that the saws move up according to the respective cutting depths. In the same way the arrangement of springs can bring about the regulation mentioned. O is the crank by which the crankshaft c is made to rotate, while ρ is a flywheel, which is used for easier overcoming of force. The working process of the wood sawing machine described above is now as follows: After a log has been inserted into the supports m , the saws / are lowered until they come into contact with the pieces of wood. The crank 0 is then set in rotation by hand or by other mechanical drive devices, so that the saws coupled by the coupling rods e to the cranks d perform back and forth cutting movements. The mentioned lever arrangement η serves, as already described, to readjust the saws. After the cut has been completed, the lever η in the
Instead of the mentioned saw blades f , three or more circular saws can be used, which can be operated by the shaft g with the aid of transmission wheels and belt drives instead of cranks.
