Das Säen beim Anlegen der Forstkulturen wird bis jetzt durch Handarbeit ausgeführt, wodurch die Saat, namentlich bei windigem Wetter, höchst unregelmäfsig ausfällt.The sowing of the forest crops has been carried out by hand until now, which means the seed, especially in windy weather, is extremely irregular.

Um diesen Uebelstand zu vermeiden, hat Erfinder eine Säemaschine construirt, die im allgemeinen die Form eines Handkarrens besitzt und in ihrer speciellen Einrichtung durch die Fig. ι bis 5 dargestellt ist; und zwar veranschaulichen Fig. i, 2 und 3 dieselbe in Seiten-, Vorder- und Oberansicht, während Fig. 4 und 5 Details zeigen. Zu i. Der aus Eisenblech oder sonst zweckentsprechendem Material gefertigte Saatkasten A, welcher nach unten in einem Stutzen α endigt, über den der Auslauftrichter b geschoben und mittelst der Flügelmuttern c c' am Platze erhalten wird, stützt sich nach vorn durch die Strebe d d' auf die Radwelle e und nach hinten durch die beiden Stützen //' auf die Karrenbäume g g'. Die beiden Streben //' sind drehbar am Kasten A, aber verschiebbar auf den Karrenbäumen g g' gelagert, so dafs der Kasten A dadurch sehr leicht ein wenig gehoben oder gesenkt werden kann. In dem Kasten A ist nach Fig. 1, 4 und 5 ein Boden i eingesetzt, welcher sich der Form des Säerades C anschmiegt und in der Mitte eine Ausströmungsöffnung besitzt, dessen Weite sich nach der Art der zu säenden Frucht richtet.The struts dd ¹ are fixed to the box A and rotatably mounted on the wheel shaft e , so that the whole box A can easily be swung around the shaft e for quick and easy emptying.
