Description
Method and device for adjusting the water content in chemical Cleaning baths It is known to increase the efficiency of chemical cleaning baths Promote addition of surfactants. One uses for this in addition to non-ionic and anion-active substances also those of a cation-active character.
In practice, chemical cleaning has proven to be less Addition of water to the cleaning baths proved to be advantageous to, for. B. sugary and other water-soluble soiling easier to remove. The added In addition to their special cleaning effect, surface-active substances also fall the task of stably dispersing the required water in the cleaning bath.
The way in which the water is introduced into the cleaning liquor depends on various factors. Pure water can be added to liquors whose detergent booster content is so high that rapid dispersion or solubilization of the water is ensured, e.g. B. at a cleaning enhancer concentration of 40 g per liter of liquor. But here, too, it is advisable to incorporate the water through fine spray nozzles for a finer distribution. At a lower content of the liquors of cleaning enhancers, e.g. B. 5 to 15 g per liter, it is inappropriate to use pure water. Pure water is only slowly distributed in the liquor, and the initially formed coarse water droplet dispersion usually leads to filter blockages and damage to the textiles due to shrinkage, creasing, etc. It has therefore proven to be useful not to use pure water but to use this emulsifier to add, i.e. to form a St2mniemu-Ision, with the help of which a sufficiently rapid distribution of the water in the fleets is achieved.
The cleaning enhancers customary in dry cleaning are expediently used as emulsifiers. Mixtures customary in practice are e.g. B. from 2 to 3 parts water and 1 part cleaning booster or 2 parts water, 1 part cleaning booster and 1 part tetrachlorethylene or 1 part water, 1 part cleaning booster and 1 part heavy fuel. The proportions can be varied within certain limits. In general, efforts are made to keep the content of expensive cleaning enhancers in these stock emulsions as low as possible.
The stock emulsions are in a storage container and are with a pressure pump via a solenoid valve the cleaning baths in the required Amount forwarded. The use of pumps or similar conveying devices has become Proved to be necessary, since the sometimes quite viscous stem emulsions on their own Do not flow into the fleet quickly enough because of their weight. The control the solenoid valve takes place in a known manner via a relay by measuring elements, with whose help is used to determine the partial pressure of water vapor over the cleaning liquor, so z. B. by hygrometer or by conductivity meters. The one for dry cleaning The optimal water content of the baths depends on the type of textiles to be cleaned and generally corresponds to a relative humidity above the baths of about 65 to 85%.
So far, the stock emulsion has been pressed in by means of pressure pumps between the needle catcher and the circulation pump or between the filter and cleaning drum, but this is technically not completely satisfactory because it requires a relatively high amount of equipment, power and emulsifier - and the mixing is not sufficient in all cases.
It has now been found that the mixing: process between the to be added Simplify water or the stock emulsion and the cleaning liquid significantly and can be improved if the water or the stem emulsion is pumped introduces into a branch line connected in parallel to the bypass line which removed the cleaning fluid from the circulation line after the circulation pump and is reinserted in front of the circulation pump. This makes it a very intense one Mixture between water or stock emulsion and cleaning fluid achieved. The inflow of the water or the stock emulsion takes place as before from one Reservoir and can be controlled via a solenoid valve depending on the water vapor partial pressure the cleaning fluid can be controlled automatically. The water or the Stanimemulsion is thereby already enriched in the feed pump with an Enralgator Cleaning fluid mixed and solubilized far better in the circulation pump, than would be possible without using the device according to the invention. To this Way, the possibility arises considerably in the production of the stock emulsion to use fewer detergent enhancers than is otherwise necessary. Particularly beneficial the method according to the invention works when a jet pump is used as the feed pump will. The method of the present invention can be carried out, for example, with the method described below Device can be carried out, which is connected to the circulation line each continuously with a circulation pump working chemical cleaning bath can be connected.
The device consists of a jet pump 1 with feed line 2 and discharge line 3. Feed line 2 is connected to the circulation line of the cleaning bath behind the circulation pump and the discharge line 3 is connected to the circulation line of the cleaning bath before the circulation pump. The stock emulsion is fed from the storage vessel 6 via the line 4 to the jet pump 1 . The solenoid valve 5 , which is controlled by a measuring device 7 via the relay 8 , is switched on in the line 4. This measuring device is connected via line 9 to the part of the circulation line located between the filter and cleaning drum and via line 10 to the gas space located in the drum.
