Teile bedeuten darin Gewichtsteile. The following examples are intended to explain the process according to the invention in more detail. Parts mean therein parts by weight.
A benzene solution of the base released from 5 parts of γ-dimethylaminopropyl chloride hydrochloride is added to 3.86 parts of iminostilbene, dissolved in 50 parts by volume of absolute benzene, and the solution is heated to 60 to 70.degree. A suspension of 11 parts of sodium amide in toluene is then added dropwise over the course of half an hour and the mixture is then refluxed for 18 hours. The reaction mixture is then cooled and water is added. The benzene layer is separated off, washed twice with water and then extracted three times with 50 parts of 2η-acetic acid each time. The acetic acid extracts are combined, made alkaline with alkali and extracted with ether. The ether extract is dried over sodium sulfate, the solvent is distilled off and the residue is distilled in a high vacuum. 5- (y-dimethylaminopropyl) iminostilbene proceeds under 0.006 mm pressure at 163 to 165 0 C. It crystallizes after prolonged standing and, after recrystallization from pentane, melts at 56 to 57 ° C. Yield 92.5% The hydrochloride produced using alcoholic hydrochloric acid melts at 176 to 177 ° C.

Ausbeute 52%.heated in an oil bath to 230 to 240 ° C until the evolution of carbon dioxide is finished. The residue is then distilled in a high vacuum, the 5- (j5-dimethylaminopropyl) -iminostilbene already prepared according to Example 1 being used receives. Yield 52%.
Ausbeute 48 %.26.9 parts of S - ^ - Chlorpropyty-iminostilbene are heated for 3 hours at 9O 0 C with 100 parts by volume of 33% ethanolic dimethylamine solution in a closed vessel. After cooling, the reaction mixture is mixed with water, made Congo acidic with dilute hydrochloric acid, shaken with ether and the 5 - (/ 3-dimethylaminopropyl) -iminostiIben is precipitated with sodium hydroxide solution. The crude base is taken up in ether and worked up analogously to Example 1. Yield 48%.
Beim Ansäuern des salzsauren Extrakts erhält man das rohe 5-(/3-Dimethylaminoäthyl)-iminostilben, welches durch Destillation imTo 10.6 parts of 5 - (/ 3-aminoethyl) iminostilbene and 15 parts of anhydrous, powdered sodium carbonate in 75 parts by volume of benzene is allowed at 50 to 6O 0 C, a solution of 12.6 parts by volume of dimethyl sulfate in 25 parts by volume of benzene is added dropwise and heating the reaction mixture was then further 4 to 5 hours at 6O 0 C. then it is allowed to cool, it was added with 100 parts of water and 50 parts by volume of ether, the organic phase is separated off and extracted with diluted hydrochloric acid. When acidifying the hydrochloric acid extract, the crude 5 - (/ 3-dimethylaminoethyl) iminostilbene is obtained, which is obtained by distillation in the
Die Ausbeute an Base beträgt 91 %·Cleaned under high vacuum (F. 53 to 54 ° C) or by treatment with ethanolic hydrogen chloride solution can be converted into the hydrochloride (mp 186 to 187 ° C). The base yield is 91%
Man erwärmt anschließend 3 Stunden am Rückfluß, kühlt dann auf — 100C ab und zersetzt das Reaktionsgemisch mit Wasser.30 parts of lithium aluminum hydride are suspended in 2,000 parts by volume of absolute ether and within 1 1 I 2 hours with stirring 240 parts of 5 - ( «- dimethylcarbamyl) ethyl-iminostilbenin added dropwise 720 parts by volume of tetrahydrofuran, maintaining the temperature at 0 C increases. The mixture is then heated for 3 hours at reflux, then cooled to - 10 and 0 C and the reaction mixture is decomposed with water.
The ethereal phase is extracted 4 to 5 times with 200 parts by volume of 2η-hydrochloric acid. The sour extracts are made alkaline with concentrated sodium hydroxide solution ^, and the separated oil is taken up in ether.
The ethereal solution is dried over sodium sulfate and the solvent is distilled off. The residue is distilled, giving 5- (a-dimethylaminomethylethyl) iminostilbene with a boiling point of 0.102 151 to 153 ° C. in 65% yield.
