Die Erfindung vermeidet diese Nachteile bei einer mit zwei freien Wellenstümpfen versehenen Speichertrommel, und zwar dadurch, daß jeder Wellenstumpf mit einer zur Aufnahme von herausnehmbaren Lagerzapfen dienenden Ausnehmung und an der Antriebsseite zusätzlich mit einer nutenförmigen Ausnehmung zur Aufnahme des Antriebsnockens (z. B. eines Zweikants) versehen ist. Vorteilhaft ist der Lagerzapfen auf der der Antriebsseite gegenüberliegenden Seite mit einem Bund versehen, der über federnde Mittel in seiner Betriebslage gehaltert wird, wobei der Abstand zwischen den äußeren Stirnseiten der beiden Wellenstümpfe kleiner ist als der innere Abstand zwischen den zur Halterung der Antriebswelle und des gegenüberliegenden Lagerzapfens dienenden Rahmenteilen (Platinen).The previously known devices of this type have the disadvantage that when inserting and removing the magnetic storage drums - even with extreme Caution - damaging the recording heads can hardly be avoided and that A time-consuming and difficult adjustment practically after every magnetic drum change must be made.
