Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Verhütung des Durchgehens der Pferde durch Hemmung der Beinbewegungen. Dieselbe ist derartig eingerichtet, dafs durch Nachlassen einer Schnur oder dergl. ein vor der Brust des Pferdes ruhendes, mit den Beinen verbundenes Hemmstück sich senkt, um die Schrittbewegung des Pferdes derart zu regeln, dafs die Beine an den zum Rennen erforderlichen Bewegungen verhindert werden.The present invention relates to a device for preventing the passage of the Horses by inhibiting leg movements. Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Hemmstücke a, das mittelst Verbindungsstücke b Riemen oder dergl. c trägt, welche um die Beine des Pferdes, im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiele um die vorderen, derart geschnallt werden, dafs sie leicht auf- und niedergleiten können. Das Hemmstück a, welches vortheilhaft aus einem mit Polsterung umgebenen Metallstab oder dergl. gebildet wird, hängt an zwei Riemen d, welche mit den Riemen k verbunden sind und bei i,f am Kummet g geeignete Führung erhalten. Die Enden der Riemen d können mit federnden Haken h versehen sein, welche in der Ruhestellung der Vorrichtung an den seitlich am Kummet g befestigten Ringen i hängen,' während die Riemen k in einem am Geschirre passend befestigten Ring / Führung erhalten und in Form einer Rückenleine bis zum Kutscherbocke reichen, wo sie mit ihren zusammengeschnallten Enden in bekannter Weise festgehalten werden können. In gewisser Entfernung vom Ringe f befinden sich an den Riemen d Querstäbe m.
