Description
Bei der vorliegenden Kühlvorrichtung wird das zu kühlende Wasser über wagerecht liegende offene Rohre geleitet, welche mit ihren Enden in der Aufsenwandung eines an den Seiten geschlossenen Thurmes liegen, während ihre anderen Enden in das Innere des Thurmes ausmünden, so dafs die Aufsenluft durch den im Thurm erzeugten Luftzug gezwungen wird, durch die Röhren hindurchzustreichen und dieselben dadurch zu kühlen. Zwischen den in verschiedenen Reihen über einander angeordneten Röhren sind Wellbleche oder dergl. in der Weise zickzackförmig angeordnet, dafs das von einem Rohr ablaufende Wasser vermittelst des unter dem Rohre liegenden Bleches zu einem weiter unten liegenden Rohr geführt wird, so: dafs es in ä'ufserst feiner Schicht mit der in dem Thurm emporsteigenden Luft in Berührung gebracht wird, welche infolge der zickzackförmigen Anordnung der Wellbleche zu öfterem Richtungswechsel gezwungen wird und dadurch in innigste Berührung mit den dünnen, niederfliefsenden Wasserschichten gebracht wird.In the case of the present cooling device, the water to be cooled is positioned horizontally open pipes passed, which with their ends in the outer wall of a closed on the sides Tower, while their other ends open into the interior of the tower, so that the outside air flows through the inside of the tower Thurm generated draft is forced to pass through the tubes and to cool them thereby.
