Drying device for goods to be treated on one side The invention
relates to a device for drying, in particular, goods in web form, which
may only be treated unilaterally, e.g. B. carpets, with several in one chamber
arranged, rotating drying drums in the same direction, over which the goods are guided
is, with the inlet to the dryer and the outlet from the dryer to the
at the same end of the dryer, and essentially consists of
that the drying drums are designed as perforated drums under suction,
over which the dry goods until the end of the drying process without touching the
outboard side of the goods is guided with fixed parts.
For drying web-shaped goods that are only treated on one side
may be allowed, especially of carpets, have so far mainly been using dryers
heated drying drums used. In such dryers with several drying drums
it is necessary to fix the goods to be dried by means of deflection and tensioning rollers
to: press the outer surfaces of the heated drying drums. With these dryers
it is also only possible through a complicated guidance of the web-shaped goods,
a concern of the endangered side of the goods to the drying drums or to the
Avoid guide and tension rollers. In addition, it is disadvantageous that the
known dryers the material to be dried by the aforementioned guide and tensioning rollers
is deflected with a sharp bend. There is also the risk that that too
drying material shrinks during the drying process and therefore the drying material
very strong tensile stress is applied, which can easily lead to tearing of the material webs
can lead. In order to counteract this disadvantage, it has already been proposed to use the deflecting rollers
to be resilient, making the known dryer even more complicated and expensive
will.
The described disadvantages are avoided by the invention,
because here the dry goods are firmly attached to their outer surfaces due to the negative pressure in the drums
is sucked and therefore without the aid of special guide and tensioning rollers
can be passed through the dryer. A touch of the external parts
the goods with solid parts can be removed by using perforated drum dryers
avoid completely. In addition, however, the elimination of the guide and tensioning rollers
the structure of the dryer according to the invention is very simplified, whereby the inventive
Dryers both cheaper and much more reliable than the known ones
Dryer will.
In a further embodiment of the invention, several perforated drums can be used
be arranged one behind the other at approximately the same height with parallel axes,
and preferably in such a way that in each case between adjacent perforated drums
Space is provided. In these spaces, double-sided
Reversing troughs be arranged, the apex of which is approximately in the axis of the perforated drums
formed level lies, with one reversing trough upwards and the other
is open at the bottom. Furthermore, the windscreens in the perforated drums can
Reversing troughs and in the perforated drum next to the inlet into the chamber
also face the enema.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the perforated drums
also be arranged in two rows one above the other, preferably in one row
ia perforated drums and in the other row zz-1 perforated drums are arranged and n
is any integer. With such an arrangement, the perforated drums
one row are offset from those in the other row. Appropriately then
the perforated drums are arranged so that the perforated drums of a row with
their jacket sheets close to the jacket sheets of the perforated drums of the other row
lie. Finally, the windscreens arranged within the perforated drums can each
against the neighboring, underlying or overlying perforated drums and in the
The perforated drum lying next to the inlet must also face the inlet.
schematisch dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt einen Lochtrommeltrockner
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments
shown schematically.
Fig. 1 shows a perforated drum dryer
with three. Perforated drums, which are arranged in a row one behind the other, and Fig.
2 shows a perforated drum dryer with two rows of perforated drums.
Mantelbleche der Lochtrommeln bzw. auf das Trokkengut 19.In the chamber 1 of the perforated drum dryer according to FIG. 1, the perforated drums 3, 4, 5 are arranged with axes 2 lying horizontally and parallel at the same height one behind the other, the jacket sheets of which have 6 holes 7. The perforated drum 4 is separated from the perforated drum 3 by the gap 8 and the perforated drum 5 is separated from the perforated drum 4 by the gap 9 the opening 11 of a reversing trough is directed upwards, the opening 12 of the other reversing trough is directed downwards. The windshields 13 facing the reversing troughs 10 are fixedly arranged in the perforated drums, and in the perforated drum 3 there is also the windshield 17 facing the inlet 14 in the wall 15 of the chamber 1 with the conveyor 16 Direction of arrow 18 driven. One or more fans suck the drying air axially out of the perforated drums and thus generate a negative pressure which holds the drying material 19 on the outer surfaces of the perforated drums at the points that are not covered by windscreens inside the drum. As the perforated drums circulate, the material to be dried is conveyed in the direction of arrow 21, resting on the shell plates only on the side 20. The spaces 8, 9 allow the dry material above and below a plane laid by the axes of the perforated drums to adhere to the perforated drums up to close to this plane, where it is deflected by the reversing troughs 10 or their openings 11, 12 and finally into Direction of arrow 22, still lying on side 20, leaves chamber 1 through inlet 14. The fans blow the drying air sucked out of the perforated drums past the heating elements 23, where it is heated, onto the jacket plates of the perforated drums or onto the dried material 19.
An increase in the drying effect is achieved by the drying device according to FIG. In the chamber 24 with the inlet 26 with the conveyor 27 arranged in the wall 25, the perforated drums 31, 32, 33 forming a row are arranged between the two rows of radiators in a plane with parallel axes 30, between which the space 34 is provided is. Under these perforated drums, namely under the spaces 34, are the perforated drums 35, 36 forming a second row. The jacket sheets 37 of the perforated drums in one row are located directly next to the jacket sheets 37 of the other row. Windscreens 38 are fixedly arranged inside the perforated drums, each covering the facing sheet metal parts of the perforated drums. A windshield 39 also arranged in perforated drum 31 is directed towards inlet 26. All perforated drums are driven in the same direction, in the direction of arrow 40. The dry material 41 wanders through on the perforated drums 31, 32, 33 of the upper row, only rides next to the side 42. the dryer, turns around on the perforated drum 33, wanders in the direction of arrow 43, still with the side 42 resting on the perforated drums 36, 35, the lower row of perforated drums and leaves the chamber 24 at the inlet 26. In the spaces 34 the Dry material 41 in each case on the jacket plates of perforated drums 35, 36 and is deflected there, while the dry material in the space 44 between the perforated drums 35, 36 rests against the perforated drums 32 and is also deflected there. There is no windshield in the corresponding perforated drum at the deflection point. The circuit of the drying air takes place in this exemplary embodiment of a dryer as in the one according to FIG Contact. An opening can optionally be provided in the wall 25 under the inlet 26, through which fresh air has access to the dry material 41 leaving the chamber 1.
