Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Löthstab (sogenannter Zain), der aus Loth und Löthmittel besteht, so dafs also beim Löthen Loth und Löthmittel gleichzeitig schmelzen und immer im richtigen Verh&'ltnifs vorhanden sind. Mari hat schon früher versucht, derartige Löthsta'be herzustellen. Dieselben besafsen geschlossene Röhrenform, deren hohles Innere vollständig mit geeigneter Löthmittelmasse ausgefüllt war. Da aber der Schmelzpunkt des Löt|)miltels viel niedriger als der des Lothes selbst liegt, so schmilzt bereits an der ersten Lothstelle fast alles Löthmittel und läuft aus, so cjafs für spätere Löthstellen wohl noch Loth, aberi kein oder nur ungenügend Löthmittel vorhanden ist. Die Herstellung der in Fig. 2, 3, 4 und 5 gezeigten Form des Löthstabes geschieht in der Weise, dafs der hohle Löthstab zunächst mit passendem Löthmittel, sei es in Pulver, sei es in Pastenform, gefüllt wird (vergl.
