Exchangeable valve seat for outlet and straight-way valves in domestic water pipes
with flow restriction The present invention is a replaceable
Valve seat for outlet and straight-way valves in domestic water pipes with flow restriction.
gilt.Actually, interchangeable valve seats are for valves as specified above
Purpose nothing new. The flow restriction of domestic water pipes is
Nothing new in and of itself and, as is well known, attached everywhere or everywhere
recommended where there are water tanks connected to the domestic water supply - e.g.
B. Overflow storage from impermissible pressure to protect or the water withdrawal
to limit the quantity per unit of time to a maximum that cannot be exceeded
is applicable.
In any case, the water withdrawal is restricted to a level that cannot be exceeded
Highly relevant wherever the inflow pressure can fluctuate greatly, such as
z. B. in urban water supply networks, in which the pressure during the night
often rises sharply and the withdrawal of water is then also associated with undesirable noise
is.
Ringnut. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the flow rate in question
to make it feasible as simply, conveniently, quickly and reliably as possible.
According to the invention, this goal is achieved by for outlet and through valves
with exchangeable valve seat the means for the purpose of flow restriction directly
the valve seat itself included and in the form of a relatively thick, centrally perforated,
like a flexible membrane made of rubber or similar elastic
Material is used. According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the
made of rubber or the same elastic material throttle disc to the valve seat
used interchangeably, preferably compressed into one provided in the valve seat
Ring groove.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing
shown, namely for the case of a so-called concealed through valve,
which is known as such and does not require any special explanations here. from
Only the valve seat 1, which is the bridge 2 in the valve housing, is of interest
3 As is known, interchangeable or used with screw thread 4 and according to the invention
is combined with an elastic material made of rubber or the like
Throttle disk 5. The throttle disk 5 is accommodated in an annular groove 6 in the valve seat 1.
So that it flexes like a membrane under the flow pressure of the water
Throttle disk 5 is always in perfect condition when the flow pressure decreases or stops
able to return to its extended position, the width b of the annular groove 6 is slightly larger
provided as the throttle plate thickness d. How the throttle disc works
5 is explained as follows: In the extended position - as can be seen from the drawing
is - becomes a certain, the width of the hole D and the pressure of the tap water
corresponding amount of water per unit of time allowed through. The flow pressure increases
of the water, this results in a certain bending of the throttle disk 5
and at the same time a corresponding narrowing of the throttle bore on the upstream side
the throttle disc. Increased water pressure, corresponding narrowing of the passage cross-section
in the throttle disc bore and a corresponding increase in the flow rate
let the flow rate per unit of time always remain the same. To this advantage
a valve seat according to the invention also has the further advantage,
that wherever there are valves in the house water pipe - both through and
also exhaust valves - with replaceable valve seats, the flow restriction
for the purpose of limiting the outflow or also for the purpose of securing pressure-sensitive
Water reservoir (e.g. overflow reservoir) only brought about by replacing the valve seat
can be. Another very important practical advantage is that the im
Valve seat blown in, so held in place only by its own tension
Throttle disk 5 easily removed from valve seat 1 if necessary
and can be replaced by another or new throttle disc,
and
although depending on requirements through such a riding the same or a different bore or flow rate number.
