Der Behälter vorliegender Erfindung, der als Bierfafs, Weinfafs, Petroleumfafs und dergl.
dienen soll, ist aus Papier oder Holzstoffmasse hergestellt, die unter Druck in geeignete Form
gebracht wird. Er ist einfach in der Bauart, billig in der Herstellung und dauerhaft in
seiner Verwendung. Die Hauptvortheile bestehen im Abdichten des Deckels gegen den
Behälter ohne Verwendung von Reifen. Durch die Verwendung vorliegender Verbesserung wird
das Fafs selbst dichter und dauerhafter, ist bequemer zu handhaben und hat ein besseres

eine ringförmige Verstärkung B. Die Deckel C werden durch Bogenslücke D am Platze gehalten.
Zu dem Zwecke hat der Cylinder auf der Innenseite an den Enden einen Absatz E,
auf welchem die Deckel C aufruhen. Die Bogenstücke D passen in eine Ringnuth F.
Die Zahl der Bogenstücke beträgt vortheilhaft 3 bis 5 Stück, doch soll die Zahl derselben
nicht beschränkt werden. Diese Bogenstücke sind von irgend welcher Gestalt, sie passen
genau in die Ringnuth F und liegen theils auf den Deckeln C und theils auf dem Ansatz
E an. Die Bogenstücke werden fest auf ihrem Platz durch eine Schraubenverbindung G
gehalten und die Fugen der an einander stofsenden Bogenstücke werden durch eine Platte H
überdeckt, jedoch können die Bogenstücke auch auf irgend eine andere Weise zusammengehalten
