Process for the production of easily sol-forming micronutrients containing
Additives to fertilizers made from glass and dilute potassium silicate solutions Soil research
and hydroponics have shown that brine and trace elements are of great influence
the growth of plants are. Unilaterally given, phosphate, nitrogen and lime
containing fertilizers often lead to a depletion of the soil in the so-called
Micronutrients. The natural weathering of the soil that used to be caused by fallow land
has been improved, takes too long in the permanent cultivation of the soil
Claim. This results in a steady, slow enrichment of the arable soils
Minerals that counteract the carbonic acid contained in rain and snow water
are persistent. It is known to fertilize glass with trace elements in for plants
add harmless composition. The effect is diminished by
that glass is already very resistant to weathering. Potash water glass solutions are still available
mixed with solutions of trace elements, the mixture dried and ground.
This product has too little resistance to weathering and is too alkaline.
It has now been found that glass is converted from a composition harmless to plants into a form which is more readily soluble for rain and snow water if this z. B. boils in the form of glass wool with dilute water glass solutions, preferably potassium water glass solutions, the mass dries and heated to temperatures between 140 and 700 ° C. The heating creates a foam with wall thicknesses of the order of 1 to 2 @t. Furthermore, in this mass, the cell is connected to the cell, so that this foam can absorb up to 900 % of its volume of water, which it only slowly releases again.
The starting material for this foam is preferably glass wool
from primeval rock, e.g. B. pegmatite and / or any aggregates of minerals that
needed by plants. Due to the small wall thickness, this is foam material
more easily soluble in carbonic acid than glass, but not dissolvable like the material,
which is made only from water glass solutions.
Die Spurenelemente B, Cu, Zn, Mn, Mo und andere können im festen Ausgangsmaterial
enthalten sein, wie z. B. beim Pegmatit.
1 cm Durchmesser gebrochen. The trace elements B, Cu, Zn, Mn, Mo and others can be found in the solid starting material
be included, such as B. pegmatite. The water-storing one is of particular advantage
Effect of the foam material for water-permeable floors. After six days
it still contains 10 to 20 percent water by volume. Because of this, the
Material is not pulverized, but in the pan mill only up to piece sizes of approx
Broken 1 cm in diameter.
gelten folgende A. 1 kg Glaswolle (100/, K,0, 20/, Na20, 600/0 Si O2, 4°/o
Fe, 0, 2% A1203, 22°/o Ca 0), 8 kg Wasserglaslösung mit 15 °/o Festsubstanz (Verhältnis
K20 zu Si02 = 1 : 3) werden innig vermischt. For every 100 kg of commercial fertilizer of any kind, between 1 and 10 kg, preferably between 2 and 5 kg, of micronutrient-containing additives made from glass and dilute potassium silicate solutions prepared according to the invention are added and mixed with one another. The following are examples of the manufacture of this material. 1 kg glass wool (100 /, K, 0, 20 /, Na20, 600/0 Si O2, 4% Fe, 0.2% A1203, 22% Ca 0 ), 8 kg of water glass solution with 15% solid substance (ratio of K20 to Si02 = 1: 3) are intimately mixed.
Dem Gemisch aus Glaswolle und Kaliwasserglas werden folgende Mengen
an Spurenelementen zugesetzt:
0,2 kg O,OWlo/oiger B203
0,2 kg 0,0001 o/oiger Cu (N O3)2
0,4 kg 0,0002o/oiger Zn (N 03) 2 -Lösung in H20
0,1 kg 0,0002o/oiger KMn04
0,2 kg 0,0001 o/oiger K,Mo 0,
erforderlichen Mengen beigemischt, z. B. 4 kg auf 96 kg mineralische Düngemittel.
B.
1 kg Glaswolle (8 °/o KZ 0, 4 0/Q Na20, 70 0% Si 02, 7°/o Fe20a, 5°/o Mg0, 5°/o
Ca0, 0,9°/o Al2Qs, 0,1 °/o Spuren von B, Cu, Zn, Mn, Mo), 6 kg Wasserglaslösung
mit 12 °/o Festsubstanz (Verhältnis K20 zu Si02 = 1 :2), 6,5 kg festes KZSi03 in
Pulverform werden innig vermischt. The following amounts of trace elements are added to the mixture of glass wool and potassium silicate: 0.2 kg O, OWlo / oiger B203
0.2 kg 0.0001% Cu (N O3) 2
0.4 kg of 0.0002% Zn (N 03) 2 solution in H20
0.1 kg 0.0002% KMn04
0.2 kg 0.0001 o / o K, Mo 0,
The glass wool mixtures are pressed so far that they are completely covered with liquid and then dried at temperatures of up to 700 ° C. In order to accelerate the evaporation of the water, it is beneficial to break the crusts that are forming during the drying process. The evaporated, dry, foam-like mass is crushed to a particle size of no more than 10 mm in diameter and added to the usual commercial fertilizers in the amounts required to supply the cultivated soils with trace elements, e.g. B. 4 kg to 96 kg of mineral fertilizers. B. 1 kg glass wool (8 ° / o KZ 0, 4 0 / Q Na20, 70 0% Si 02, 7% Fe20a, 5% Mg0, 5 ° / o Ca0, 0.9% Al2Qs , 0.1% traces of B, Cu, Zn, Mn, Mo), 6 kg water glass solution with 12% solid substance (ratio K20 to Si02 = 1: 2), 6.5 kg solid KZSi03 in powder form are intimately mixed.
The mass is made by pressing through hot air with temperatures
dried from above 200 ° C through the mixture or with furnace exhaust gases of the same
Temperature. In this case, too, crusts are continually broken up mechanically. the
Final drying with furnace exhaust gases takes place at 500 ± 100 ° C. The foam-like mass
After being crushed, it is mixed with commercial fertilizers in a weight ratio of 1:60.
According to the method of the invention, it is possible in a technically simple way to produce from glass wool
and similar inexpensive foam-like raw materials available in large quantities
