Description
Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Abdichten von Drehrohröfen gegen die Außenluft Drehrohröfen für das Brennen bzw. Sintern von Magnesit, Dolomit, Kalkstein, Zementrohstoffen oder Erzen, ragen mit ihren Enden in feststehende Köpfe, von denen der eine Kopf für die Aufnahme des Brenners und die Übergabe des fertiggebrannten Gutes an die Kühlvorrichtung dient, während der andere Kopf die Beschickungsvorrichtung für das zu behandelnde Gut aufnimmt. Häufig ist auch der den Brenner aufnehmende Kopf, der Brennerkopf, in Achsenrichtung des Drehrohrofens verschieblich. An der Drehbewegung des Drehrohres nimmt er aber auch in diesem Falle nicht teil. Da das Drehrohr mit erheblichem Spielraum in die feststehenden Köpfe hineinragt, entstehen große Zwischenräume, durch die Falschluft in die Köpfe eintreten oder Brenn- bzw. Heizgase austreten können. Man. hat auch schon versucht, diese Übergangsstellen zu dichten.
