Sie zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß sowohl der zentrale Schirmstock als auch die an den Schirmstangen angreifenden Stützstreben in an sich bekannter Weise teleskopartig auszieh- und feststellbar sind und die Zeltwand an dem feststehenden, den ausziehbaren Teil der Streben aufnehmenden Teil angebracht ist. Die Feststellung des Zeltdaches in der jeweiligen Höhenlage erfolgt hierbei nur an dem zentralen Schirmstock, und zwar vorteilhaft mittels einer Klemme oder einer anderen bekannten Feststellvorrichtung zwischen den teleskopartigen Schirmstockteilen. Auf diese Weise erhält man ein Schirtrizelt mit einem verstellbaren Zeltdach, das in Parallverschiebung zu sich selbst gegenüber dem Zeltmantel in der Höhe verschoben werden kann. Das Zeltdach bleibt hierbei gespannt und bietet einen unveränderten Schutz gegen Nässe in jeder beliebigen Höheneinstellung des Schirmdaches. Das Zeltdach läßt sich mit der Spitze bis zu einer erheblichen Höhe über den Zeltmantel hochschieben. Man kann die üblichen Gartenschirme für das erfindungsgemäße Schirmzelt verwenden.
