Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
Von den chemischen Verfahren sind am bekanntesten:It is known that in paper manufacture, the production of pulp from wood, straw and the like is thereby made achieves that the raw material is mechanically crushed and then chemically broken down. The best known of the chemical processes are:
1. das Sulfitzellstoffverfahren,1. the sulphite pulp process,
2. das Sulfatzellstoffverfahren,2. the sulphate pulp process,
3. das Natronzellstoffverfahren.3. the soda pulp process.
The first two processes mentioned require large amounts of sulfur to be carried out. According to the sulphite process, the digestion takes place with acid calcium bisulphite, which is made from sulfur dioxide and milk of lime is produced. In the sulphate process, the digestion takes place with an alkaline lye, the z. B. consists of 10% sodium hydroxide solution in which 22 kg of sodium sulfide and 4 kg of sodium sulfate per cbm are resolved. The sulfur requirement is greater in the first-mentioned process than in the second-mentioned. The sulphite waste liquor that occurs at the end of the pulp production contains the main component the lignin, which is contained in it in water-soluble form as lignin sulfonic acid. The Waste liquor still contains part of the sulfur required in the process in the form of sulphurous .Acid.
A number of people are known to have the aim of recovering sulfur. According to a method known among others, the pulp waste liquor is evaporated, and then the combustible substances of the evaporated mass, optionally in connection with added fuel, are burned. The sulfur dioxide escaping from the incinerator is processed into new cooking liquor and sodium sulphate is also added in the oven to compensate for sodium losses. This also compensates for the SO 2 losses.
Other methods also provide for a further utilization of the pulp waste liquor by incineration and use carbon-rich, mostly solid fuels that are mixed in in powder form to promote the combustion. In each case, this is associated with the possibility of intercepting the released SO 2 and feeding it back into the sulfur cycle.
In the known method, it is now a disadvantage that the combustion process, the addition of coke, wood, sawdust or peat of the usual kind, brings with it a large amount of ash.
Die Erfindung sieht dagegen die Kombination zweier an sich bekannter Einzelmaßnahmen vor, die darin besteht, daß grabfeuchter Torf mit der Sulfitablauge gemischt, zu Soden geformt, getrocknet und verbrannt und das bei der Verbrennung erhalteneThe invention, on the other hand, provides the combination of two individual measures known per se, which consists in that grave-moist peat mixed with the sulphite waste liquor, formed into sods, dried and burned and that obtained during the incineration

Sulfur dioxide is recovered from the combustion gases to produce fresh cooking acid.
By using the grave-moist peat, the incineration results in only a small amount of ash connected, which turns out to be particularly favorable in the recovery of the released gases Proves contrary to the known procedure. With grave-moist peat there is also a substance as Additive to the sulphite waste liquor for use, which is inherently non-flammable and only through the intended treatment the mixture according to the invention becomes a combustible substance which is just for the reduction process shows particularly favorable properties. Besides being a useful one Use of grave-moist peat in large-volume areas is extremely economical Is important, the low ash accumulation is particularly cheap and provides a further Increase in the economic efficiency of the process.
Furthermore, the formation of the mixture of sulphite waste liquor with grave-moist peat creates sods subsequent drying the possibility of combustion in normal combustion chambers of the most varied To carry out plants and thus for the heat requirements of the pulp production (boiling, thickening) to utilize profitably, according to the invention at the same time the recovery of the sulfur dioxide and recycling of the same into the sulfur cycle is provided. It can be your own There is no need for incineration plants that are used exclusively for the incineration of the waste liquor in the case of the known ones Facilities are provided.
Deren Ver-According to the invention, thickened sulphite waste liquor is preferably used. Their
