Schließlich sind auch schon Einzelschleifkörper mit einer Ringmutter im Schleifkörperfuß bekannt, wobei die zum Auswechseln lösbare Tragscheibenbefestigung durch Schraubbolzen erfolgt. Diese bekannten Befestigungsmöglichkeiten lassen jedoch keine Schnellwechselung der Einzelschleifkörper zu, wie dies erwünscht ist, da die Spann- und Schraubgewinde für die Erzeugung der zur Halterung notwendigen Reibung eine große Zahl von Gewindegängen aufweisen müssen. Ferner sind insbesondere beim häufigen Auswechseln die Mutter- und Bolzengewinde leicht Beschädigungen ausgesetzt, was beim Festziehen oder Lösen zur Zerstörung der Gewindegänge führt. Auch müssen die Gewindegänge von Schleifspänen und -körnern saubergehalten werden; zur Vermeidung des Einrostens ist ferner ihr häufiges Einölen notwendig, zumal derartige Schraubverbindungen dem Zutritt der Schleifflüssigkeit ausgesetzt sind.
