Es wird von den Hausfrauen bekanntlich als eine ä'ufserst lästige und zeitrauhende Arbeit empfunden, dafs die zum Dörren für den Verbrauch im Winter bestimmten Bohnen u. s. w. einzeln in eine Schnur eingefädelt und dann über dem Herde oder sonst in trockener, warmer Luft aufgehängt werden müssen. Allerdings sucht man diese zeitraubende Beschäftigung dadurch zu umgehen, dafs man die zu .trocknenden Bohnen etwa auf eine Eisenplatte legt und letztere in den Backofen des Küchenherdes hineinschiebt.
