An Stelle des im Haupt-Patent Nr. 95903 vorgeschlagenen und als syrupös bezeichneten Bleilactats, bei welchem infolge der von der Herstellung stammenden Verunreinigungen die !Crystallisation sehr stark verzögert oder ganz verhindert werden kann, wird reines krystallisirtes Bleilactat in Gestalt farbloser, derber Krystalle oder eines feinen weifsen Pulvers von der Zusammensetzung (C3H5 O6)^Pb verwendet.
