DEUTSCHESGERMAN
Bei gewissen Arten von Malen durch Spritzen, insbesondere in Fällen, in denen sehr dicke Farben verwendet werden, erfolgt die Farbzufuhr zu der Spritzpistole über einen Schlauch, der unmittelbar an eine elektromotorisch angetriebene Farbpumpe mit einem Füllbehälter angeschlossen ist, der an der Einlaßöffnung der Pumpe angebracht ist. Das Anlassen und Abstellen des Elektromotors erfolgt gewöhnlich mittels eines an der Spritzpistole angeordneten Schalters. Beim Spritzen wird zuerst der Motor angelassen und danach der Abzug der Spritzpistole eingedrückt. Wenn das Spritzen aufhören soll, werden diese Schritte in umgekehrter Reihenfolge ausgeführt. Dieses Verfahren hat jedoch mehrere Nachteile. Einerseits wird die Pistole durch das Gewicht des Schalters schwerer und dadurch die Arbeit für den Spritzer mühsamer, andererseits besteht immer die Gefahr elektrischer Überschläge zu der Spritzpistole, insbesondere weil die Farben, die mittels solcher Einrichtungen gespritzt werden, Wasser enthalten. Schließlich bedeutet das Anlassen und Abstellen des Motors einen zusätzlichen Arbeitsschritt, der eine gewisse Zeit erfordert. Nachdem der Motor angelassen und bevor er abgestellt worden ist, gibt es gewisse Augenblicke, während denen die Pumpe gegen eine vollkommen geschlossene Leitung arbeiten muß, wobei der Druck im Farbschlauch außerordentlich gesteigert wird. Gleichzeitig wird die Pumpenabnutzung wesentlich erhöht. Würde der Spritzer, was oft vorkommt, das Spritzen nur kurz unterbrechen wollen, vielleicht nur einige wenige Minuten, geschieht es oft, daß er es unterläßt, den Pumpenmotor abzustellen. Es entsteht dann ein besonders hoher Druck im Farbschlauch, der ja zu einem gewissen Grade elastisch ist. Wenn der Spritzer dann den Pistolenabzug eindrückt, um das Spritzen wieder zu beginnen, kommt im ersten Augenblick vielleicht eine doppelt so große Farbmenge als im nächsten Augenblick, wenn der Druck wieder nur von der Leistung der Pumpe bestimmt wird.
