Apparat zur Absorption gasförmiger Körper durch flüssige.Apparatus for the absorption of gaseous bodies by liquids.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 30. März 1898 ab.Patented in the German Empire on March 30, 1898.
The present invention relates to the absorption of gaseous bodies through fluid and aims to make this mode of operation so practicable that it is completely saturated the liquid is achieved. For this purpose it consists of an apparatus of such a device that the liquid flows back and forth and the gas flow It is broken down into a number of sub-streams in such a way that the liquid is found on each of them The partial lengths caused by the back and forth running were swept by a fresh stream of gas will. In this way the absorption capacity of the liquid stream is energetically claimed from its origin taken and thereby achieved that in one operation the complete saturation of the liquid is brought about.
In the accompanying drawing, the apparatus is shown in longitudinal section, for example in the Embodiment illustrates which the inventor z. B. for the manufacture of concentrated Hydrochloric acid used.
A number of tubes D, which are open at both ends, are arranged one above the other in such a way that they open into a chamber C on the one hand and a chamber E on the other. The chamber C forms the ascending extension of a vessel B, into which the gases to be absorbed are introduced through the tube A. The chamber E is connected to a trigger at the top. The absorption tubes D are alternately extended at the ends, starting with the end of the uppermost tube protruding into the chamber E for collecting the liquid, forming a collecting trough α . The liquid is the trough α of the top pipe z. B. by means of funnel F supplied; it fiows from a to the end b, falls through this into the trough α of the following pipe, flows through this to the left, falls at the end b there into the trough α of the third pipe and so on, until it comes out of the end b of the lowest Pipe falls into the vessel B , which is provided with a tap B 1 on the bottom for draining. The gas flowing in through A into B fills chamber C and is distributed from here to the individual tubes D, through which it takes its way to chamber E , the encounter between gas and liquid in each unpaired tube according to the countercurrent principle accomplishes. The gas not absorbed by the liquid draws out of chamber 2? from above.
It is advisable to equip the outlet ends b of the tubes a, as also assumed in the drawing and illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3 in longitudinal section and cross-section in individual representation, with dams c , which makes the surface contact between gas and liquid more extensive and lasting will. In addition, the dams c effectively hold back any impurities, etc. that may have deposited themselves, so that a product of higher purity is obtained.
If necessary, you can sprinkle the absorption tubes with liquid, which you can top.
vermittelst Brauserohres G auffallen läfst und unten durch eine geeignete Vorrichtung H wieder auffängt, so weit sie nicht verdampft ist.by means of shower pipe G and catches it again below by a suitable device H , as far as it has not evaporated.
