Description
The formation of ketazines of hydrazine is known.
The invention relates to a process for the production of hydrazine, in particular from dilute ones Solutions that consist in adding cyclohexanone to them, the deposited dicyclohexylidene hydrazine separated and this with an acid in cyclohexanone and the corresponding hydrazine salt splits.
It has been found, surprisingly, that the dicyclohexylidene hydrazine is very strong Dilute aqueous solutions at moderate temperatures forms quantitatively and because of its extraordinary low solubility in water is completely eliminated from the solution. This separation can be made quantitative by adding a small excess of cyclohexanone, about 5 to 20%, preferably about 10%, applies. The cyclohexanone then dissolves in the formed dicyclohexylidenehydrazine and floats with this on the solution.
This quantitative separation is only possible with a neutral reaction, because with an acidic reaction the dicyclohexylidene hydrazine partially dissolves in the form of a salt, but is difficult to separate off when it is more alkaline. In order to avoid losses of the precipitant cyclohexanone, it is advisable to precipitate it by adding it an excretion, to be completed by means of in amounts of 3 to 20%, preferably 10% table salt.
The deposited dicyclohexylidenehydrazine (ketazine) can be removed from the aqueous solution at temperatures Above its melting point (about 35 ° C) liquid, below this temperature crystallized separated will. This separation can be carried out continuously.
Destilliert man z. If one distills z. B. the separated ketazine with water and sulfuric acid in a steam stream at about 80 to 100 ° C, so that for 2 moles of hydrazine formed in this cleavage, 1 mole of sulfuric acid is used - it ^ is a Pj 1 value of about 3 to 5 a -, a concentrated aqueous solution of the readily soluble dihydrazonium sulfate results in quantitative yield in the distillation flask, while the split off cyclohexanone floats as such on the distilled water in the distillation flask. The acid cleavage is advantageous in the absence of air, z. B. carried out under protective gas or steam.
In this way, the cyclohexanone required for precipitation is recovered and can be recycled can be used again for the deposition of diketazim.

Hydrazine hydrate can be prepared in a known manner from the neutral hydrazonium sulfate. Likewise Dihydrazonium sulfate can easily be obtained as easily soluble white crystals by evaporation will.
Die Ausbeute ist praktisch quantitativ, das Anon kann bei einem zweiten Ansatz zusammen mit dem abdestillierten Wasser erneut zur Fällung eingesetzt werden.5 1 of an aqueous hydrazine hydrate solution lgewichtsprozentigen containing 50 g of hydrazine hydrate, while stirring with 215.6 g of cyclohexanone at about 40 ° C and a pH value of about 7 is added. A white cloudiness forms, which is deposited on the solution in the form of a colorless oil. The liquid layers are separated in a separatory funnel. The aqueous solution running off contains 0.1 g of hydrazine hydrate. The separated dicyclohexylidene hydrazine is distilled in a stream of steam with 49 g of H 2 SO 4 , which are gradually added in the form of an approximately 20% solution, so that the distillation volume is kept practically constant. The passing cyclohexanone collects on the cooled distilled water. The yield is practically quantitative; in a second batch, the anon can be used again for precipitation together with the water that has been distilled off.
In dem Destillationskolben hinterbleiben 49 g Hydrazinhydrat in Form von Dihydrazoniumsulfat als konzentrierte wäßrige Lösung, welche in bekannter Weise zu dem kristallisierten leichtlöslichen Salz oder zu Hydrazinhydrat aufgearbeitet werden kann.49 g of hydrazine hydrate in the form of dihydrazonium sulfate remain in the distillation flask as a concentrated aqueous solution, which in a known manner leads to the crystallized, readily soluble salt or can be worked up to hydrazine hydrate.
