Um den Schlitz b auch zum Durchstecken eines Lappens benutzen zu können, dürfen die Bindfäden oder Drähte nicht vorstehen. Aus diesem Grunde ist der Bürstenrücken in den Fig. 1 und 2 mit Rinnen f versehen, welche von Loch zu Loch gehen und in welche sich die Drähte einlegen. In Fig. 3 hat der Schlitzquerschnitt eine konische Form und in Fig. 4 sind die Begrenzungsflächen des Schlitzes concav geformt. Patent claim:

A double-sided flat brush, characterized in that the tufts of bristles (c) are arranged on the surface of a core (a) provided with a slot (b) , so that the boundary surfaces of the slot form the back of the brush.
