Fig.

Lamellas consist of a sheet metal strip wound on edge. It is proposed
been able to manufacture the laminated core of a stator for small electric motors in such a way that
that a sheet metal strip provided with punched-out groove teeth is edged into one
Snail is wound so that the turns form the lamellae of the laminated core.
Such a motor is cheaper to manufacture than those designed in the usual way
Motors, because a not inconsiderable amount of material is used in the manufacture of the laminated core
is saved. The deformation of the sheet metal strips into a ring shape is achieved by
that the sheet metal strip provided with punched out groove teeth is replaced by special tapered ones
Pressure rollers is pulled through. The pressure rollers can be set so that
that in the strip so treated, the thickness of the strip from the groove teeth
decreases slightly towards your outer edge. This ensures that the slats
better weld together the sheet-metal package consisting of the rolled-up sheet metal strip
there are spaces between the lamellas to accommodate the welding material
are present, which is particularly valuable when the slats only through
several weld seams extending transversely to the lamination over its outer edge
are connected to one another to form a solid core. Special weld grooves
then do not need to be provided on the surface of the laminated core. the
The present invention now shows a further improvement in the structure of such a device
Sheet metal package. In the case of the laminated core according to the invention, they are towards the outer edge
lamellas tapering in a known manner are provided with a thickened edge.
This has the advantage that the weld seams in a particularly favorable manner
produce only a small consumption of welding material. In addition, the
Outer edges are compressed because the thickened edge of the lamellas is a sufficient

Allow the lamellar material to be stored. The welding material penetrates here
deep enough between the lamellas so that the laminated core can be processed,
without disturbing the weld, but not so deep that the magnetic properties
of the laminated core are impaired. The thickened edge of the sheet metal strip, off
which the laminated core consists, can according to the invention in a particularly simple

As can be seen from Fig. 1, the laminated core consists of a
Sheet metal strip rolled up to form a snail H, which extends from the roots 33
the teeth 31 to near the outer circumference of the package is slightly tapered and here in a
thickened edge 37 passes over, so that narrow slots here between the individual slats

is, as shown in Fig. 2, the sheet metal strip .ST, which is on one side
is provided with punched teeth 31. between the tapered pressure rollers R1
and R2 drawn through so that the narrow edge 37 of the strip over the roll edge

as a result, the tapering of the band ST towards the outer edge in the desired manner
can be set.
