Das bedeutet, daß der Festsattel aus jeweils zwei gleichförmigen Teilen zusammengesetzt werden kann. Da diese Symmetrie auch für die Anschlüsse gilt, über die der Druck zwischen den Sattelteilen übertragen wird, ist die vorliegende Festsattel-Bremse auch hinsichtlich der Einbaulage sehr flexibel und kann sowohl vor der Achse als auch hinter der Achse und auch über der Achse und damit letztlich rund um die Achse eingebaut werden. Weiterhin sieht die Erfindung Befestigungsadapter vor, mit der die gleiche Festsattel-Bremse an unterschiedlichen Fahrzeugen montiert werden kann.
