Abstract

Es wird bereitgestellt eine Projektionsvorrichtung mit einer ersten, zweiten und dritten Lichtquelle (1, 2, 3), die Licht unterschiedlicher Wellenlänge abgeben, wobei bei additiver Farbmischung des Lichts der drei Lichtquellen (1, 2, 3) der maximale Lichtfluß am Weißpunkt durch den maximalen Lichtfluß der ersten Lichtquelle (1) begrenzt ist, einer Farbeinheit (5, 33), die das Licht der Lichtquellen (1, 2, 3) in einen Beleuchtungskanal (8) einkoppelt, einer an den Beleuchtungskanal (8) anschließenden Lichtmodulatoreinrichtung (12), die das Licht der Lichtquellen (1, 2, 3) moduliert, und einer Projektionsoptik (18), die das modulierte Licht auf eine Projektionsfläche (21) projiziert, wobei die Lichtmodulatoreinrichtung (12) einen ersten und einen zweiten Lichtmodulator (15, 16) sowie eine den Lichtmodulatoren (15, 16) vorgeschaltete Farbaufteilungseinheit (13) aufweist, auf die das Licht aus dem Beleuchtungskanal (8) trifft und die das Licht der ersten Lichtquelle (1) auf den ersten Lichtmodulator (15) und das Licht der zweiten und dritten Lichtquelle (2, 3) auf den zweiten Lichtmodulator (16) lenkt, eine Farbkombiniereinheit (13), die das von den Lichtmodulatoren (15, 16) kommende, modulierte Licht zur Projektionsoptik (18) lenkt und eine Steuereinheit (22) vorgesehen sind, die bewirkt, daß der zweite Lichtmodulator (16) zeitsequentiell mit dem Licht der zweiten und dritten Lichtquelle (2, 3) beleuchtet wird, und die einen Abgleich auf den Weißpunkt über die Intensität ...
