Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zur Seitenraumüberwachung eines Fahrzeugs (1) umfasst mindestens zwei Bildaufnehmer, die die Umgebung des Fahrzeugs (1) in jeweils einem Blickwinkel erfassen und deren überlappender Blickwinkelbereich ausgewertet wird, wobei die Bildaufnehmer, in Längsrichtung des Fahrzeugs (1) gesehen, im Wesentlichen vertikal übereinander angeordnet sind. Dadurch kann der tote Winkel minimiert werden.
