Abstract
A data carrier (1) has an IC module and an antenna (6) for wireless data transmission. Additionally, a rechargeable battery (4) and a switch-on key (5) are integrated in the data carrier (1), and by actuating the switch-on key (5) and use of the battery power (4) through an increase of the transmission and/or reception power, a data transmission process is possible at least double the distance. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) (A) A method for manufacturing a data carrier (2) (B) Application of a data carrier.
