Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung stellt eine Vorrichtung dar, mit welcher man eine bestimmte Anzahl Münzen in ein Blatt Papier einwickeln kann, wobei nach Umlegung der beiden Enden des letzteren eine sogenannte Geldrolle gebildet wird.The subject of the present invention is a device with which one can wrap a certain number of coins in a sheet of paper, after which it is folded a so-called roll of money is formed at the two ends of the latter.

Diese Vorrichtung besteht aus zwei Theilen, erstens aus einer obenen offenen hohlen Säule aus Messing oder anderem Material, die in ihrem unteren Theile mit einem innen emporstrebenden Fufs versehen ist, der zwischen sich und dem Mantel der Säule einen Raum für das zum Einrollen der Münzen nothwendige Papier offen läfst; zweitens aus einer in ihrem Innern dem Durchmesser der zu rollenden Münzen entsprechenden hohlen und an beiden Enden, offenen, sonst aber gleichfalls ringsum geschlossenen Walze aus Messing oder anderem Material, deren eine Seite die Länge einer bestimmten, auf einander gelegten Anzahl Münzen hat, während die andere Seite in einen trichterförmigen Fortsatz aufstrebt. Durch die Einrichtung dieser hohlen Walze, die sehr dünn zu fertigen ist, wird es ermöglicht, das Papier so fest wie möglich um die Münzen zu legen, während die Manipulation des Einrollens einfach durch das Herausziehen der mit Münzen gefüllten Walze geschieht; da dieses Herausziehen nur den Zeitraum eines Rucks beansprucht, so ist damit die gröfste Schnelligkeit des Einrollens gegeben. Man breitet das zum Einhüllen der Münzen bestimmte Material (Papier u. s. w.) auf einer Fläche aus, legt die hohle Walze darauf und wickelt dieselbe in das Papier ein. Die so mit dem Papier umhüllte hohle Walze führt man nun in die oben offene Säule ein, so dafs dieselbe mit dem Papier den emporstrebenden Fufs der Säule umhüllt, und schüttet nun die Münzen in solcher Anzahl in die Walze, dafs der Münzeninhalt genau die Höhe der nicht mit dem Fortsatz versehenen Seite der W^ralze erreicht hat, was man durch probeweises Umlegen des Papiers an der betreffenden Stelle leicht feststellt. Die richtige Anzahl der Münzen läfst sich bei diesem neuen Instrument aber auch noch durch Gewicht ermessen, indem man das dazu eingerichtete Instrument auf eine Waage stellt und die Walze nun so lange mit Münzen füllt, bis der Zeiger der Waage das Durchschnittsgewicht einer bestimmten Anzahl Münzen angiebt, natürlich mit Inbetrachtziehung des Gewichtes des Instrumentes selbst. Ist die Walze entsprechend gefüllt, so wird dieselbe an dem oben befindlichen Fortsatz mit einem Ruck aus der Säule herausgezogen und die Papierhülle oben durch Umlegen geschlossen. Ist dies geschehen, so stülpt man die Säule um, die unten noch nicht geschlossene Rolle entfällt der Säule, worauf auch das andere Papierende der Rolle geschlossen wird.
