Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Greifer mit wenigstens einem Greifantrieb für zwei Greifarme, deren freie Enden jeweils mit einem Greifstück versehen sind, die zwischen einer Offenlage, in der sie einen ersten Abstand zueinander aufweisen, und einer Schließlage, in der sie einen zweiten gegenüber dem ersten geringeren Abstand aufweisen oder aneinander anliegen, gegeneinander hin- und herbewegbar sind. Gemäß der Erfindung wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Greifantrieb und die Greifarme in einem diese vollständig umgebenden Gehäuse angeordnet sind und dass die Greifstücke über wenigstens eine Dichtungsanordnung dichtend aus dem Gehäuse hinausgeführt werden. Eine solche Anordnung hat den Vorteil, dass nur die Greifstücke aus dem Gehäuse hinausragen, die mittelbar über die Greifarme mit dem Greifantrieb verbunden sind. Der Greifantrieb sitzt daher geschützt tief im Inneren des Gehäuses, so dass Feuchtigkeit im Bereich der Dichtungsanordnung nicht zu dem Greifantrieb gelangen kann.
