Abstract

Signalleuchte für Fahrzeuge, insbesondere Kraftfahrzeuge, mit einem langgestreckten Lichtleiter, der quer zu seiner Längsausdehnung eine Abstrahlfläche aufweist, über die Licht abstrahlbar ist, und der an seiner der Abstrahlfläche abgewandten Rückfläche mindestens bereichsweise reflektierend ausgebildet ist, wobei der Lichtleiter eine Vielzahl von Lichteinkoppelstellen im Bereich der Rückfläche aufweist, über die Licht jeweils den Lichteinkoppelstellen vorgelagerter Lichtquellen einkoppelbar ist, wobei der Großteil des eingekoppelten Lichts den Lichtleiter geradlinig transmittiert und wobei ein kleinerer Teil in Längsrichtung abgelenkt, an der Rückfläche reflektiert und über die Abstrahlfläche abgestrahlt wird.
