Abstract
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein radial, im Wesentlichen hohlzylindrisches Implantat zur Offenhaltung und/oder Stabilisierung eines Lumens, insbesondere eines Blutgefäßes, innerhalb eines menschlichen oder tierischen Körpers, dessen Wandung durch magnetisch oder elektrisch leitende, insbesondere metallische, Drähte gebildet oder gestützt ist. Eine Vorrichtung zu schaffen, bei dem die Artefakteffekte bei Anwendung von MRT (Magnet Resonanz Tomographie) auf ein Minimum reduziert sind, wird dadurch erreicht, dass zumindest ein Draht, ein Teil eines Drahtes oder eine Kombination hiervon derart angeordnet sind, dass sie über den Umfang der Wandung des Implantates analog einer Helix oder eines Teiles einer Helix umlaufen.
