Abstract
The torsionally resilient road vehicle rear axle has two hinged (2) links (1) with mountings (26) for springs (27), and mountings (6) for dampers (7) and for wheel stub axles (3). Bent sheet metal fillets (10) with upper (21) and lower flanges and slits (23) fill the corners between the hinged links and the ends of the modified V-section torsion beam (8).
