Description

  • The present invention relates to a coffee brewing apparatus having a brewing chamber, comprising an upper and a lower part, which are designed to be movable relative to each other between an open position and a closed brewing position, at least one filled with ground coffee filter pad (Filterpad ) and a filter carrier encompassed by the lower part of the brewing chamber, wherein the filter carrier is movable transversely to the brewing chamber axis between an insertion position for inserting and removing a filter pad and an insertion position.
  • Such a coffee brewing device is from the EP 1219216 A1 known.
  • Another coffee brewing device is from the EP 0904718 A1 known. The device described there is a low-pressure coffee machine. In the low-pressure coffee machines usually with a brewing pressure of 1.2 to 2.0 bar, preferably 1.5 to 1.8 bar worked. In the known device, the lower part of the brewing chamber holds a filter carrier into which a filter pad is inserted. The upper part of the brewing chamber is attached to a pivot cover and is pressed in the closed position by latching the pivot cover on the filter support, so that the filter pad is completely received in the brewing chamber. Hot water is introduced from above into the upper part, wets and penetrates the coffee pad. In this prior art, a strong focus is placed on the fact that in the closed position, the brewing chamber is sufficiently sealed. The positive guidance of the upper part of the lid is largely, if not entirely, largely avoided, the filter pad during the closing process unevenly pressurized. Other coffee brewing devices are in the DE 69210484 T2 and the DE 19606735 A1 described.
  • Such home-use portion coffee brewing devices are becoming more and more popular and, on the whole, have proven quite well. Nevertheless, efforts are being made to further improve the applications of such brewing devices.
  • The present invention is therefore based on the object to design a coffee brewing device of the type mentioned in terms of closure in the brewing cheaper.
  • For this purpose, it is provided that the filter carrier is locked in simultaneous insertion and Bühstellung by means of the filter support and the upper part outside the brewing interlocking positioning, and the positioning means are brought out of engagement in the open position, and the upper part together with the associated positioning means along the brewing chamber axis between the open position and the closed brewing position is designed to be movable.
  • Although is out of the US 3620155 A also a filter carrier known which can be inserted laterally, however, this coffee preparation device does not have a closed brewing chamber, but from above, only a flat downholder is shut down, which favors the wetting of the filter pad with hot water. A locking of the filter support by the hold-down is not provided.
  • An advantage of the invention is that the filter carrier is transferred as part of the lower brewing chamber in an insertion position and there the insertion of one or more filter pads can be performed. Subsequently, the filter carrier is returned to its insertion position. So that he occupies the position necessary for closing the brewing chamber in this insertion position, the mentioned positioning means are provided which come into engagement during the transfer from the opening into the brewing position. In this context, it would also be conceivable to provide mechanisms (electrical, mechanical, etc.) which prevent starting of the brewing process, if these positioning means were not properly brought into engagement.
  • A very simple and inexpensive embodiment provides that the positioning of at least one locking pin and at least one locking hole are formed. In coffee brewing devices, plastics are very often used. In this respect, such locking pins and locking holes are very easy to produce by injection molding with the desired accuracy.
  • So that the displacement of the filter carrier from the insertion position into the insertion position or vice versa can be accomplished very easily, at least one locking pin is preferably arranged on the upper part of the brewing chamber and at least one locking opening on the filter carrier. This does not cause the filter carrier to get caught in this pull-out or displacement process. Rather, the filter carrier can assume a flat shape for this process.
  • Conveniently, the filter carrier can be configured in an insert receptacle of a housing that is open at least on one side and can be configured to be pushed out and pushed out. This then works like a drawer. This can be a complete or even a partial withdrawal of the filter support for Insertion of the one or more filter pads are provided.
  • In an advantageous further embodiment, it is provided that the filter carrier has a receptacle for the at least one filter pad, which is designed as a cup-shaped recess and has a peripheral edge step, and the upper part of the brewing chamber has an annular Aufdrücksteg arranged on the front, in the brewing a horizontal section of the marginal stage is pressed. This ensures that in addition to the positioning in the immediate area of the brewing chamber a certain leadership and a seal are available.
  • At the upper part of the brewing chamber may be arranged an upper annular seal which is pressed onto an upper sealing surface of the filter carrier in the brewing position. The pressing is preferably carried out outside the brewing chamber, so that a complete seal can be effected by simple means.
  • Furthermore, in the brewing position, the compression of the upper ring seal may be limited by the pressing of the annular Aufdrückstegs on the peripheral edge step of the filter carrier. The Aufdrücksteg thus additionally acts as an overload protection for the ring seal, as this can only be compressed so far until the Aufdrücksteg is firmly seated on the filter carrier. This ensures a durable seal use.
  • Also at the bottom of the insertion receptacle, a lower annular seal may be provided, on which a lower sealing surface of the filter support is pressed in the brewing position. This ensures a seal of the removable cassette in the lower area in the brewing position, so that resulting coffee extract flows only to the appropriate outlet openings.
  • In this connection, the lower ring seal can be arranged in a recess of the bottom of the insertion receptacle and partially project beyond the bottom in the open position, wherein the filter support in the brewing position is in contact with the ground and the lower ring seal is pressed against the lower sealing surface of the filter support , As a result, an overload protection of the lower ring seal is created because the cartridge is from a certain pressure with the bottom of the insertion receptacle in touch and so can not increase the force on the ring seal further.
  • Furthermore, the invention relates to a coffee brewing apparatus having a brewing chamber, comprising an upper and a lower part, which are designed to be movable relative to one another between an open position and a closed brewing position, with a filter carrier encompassed by the lower part of the brewing chamber. Furthermore, the filter carrier is configured movable transversely to the brewing chamber axis between an insertion position for inserting and removing a filter pad and an insertion position, wherein the filter carrier is locked at the same insertion and brewing position by means of the filter carrier and the upper part outside the brewing interlocking positioning, and the positioning means are disengaged in the open position. The upper part is designed to be movable together with the associated positioning means along the brewing chamber axis between the open position and the closed brewing position. The associated advantages result from the above.
  • In addition, the invention relates to the use of a filter holder of a coffee brewing device according to one of claims 1 to 11. The filter carrier has positioning means which engageable with positioning means at the upper part of the brewing chamber with simultaneous insertion and brewing engaged and disengaged in the open position are made engageable. The use of such positioning means is particularly suitable for filter carriers, which can be transferred by the drawer principle of an insertion position into an insertion position. A pivoting in an insertion and in an insertion position is possible.

  • In the following, the operation and operation of the above-described brewing device will now be 1 explained in more detail.
  • In the in 1 closed brewing position shown are usually in the brewing chamber 18 arranged two superimposed filter pads. A circumferential sealing edge of the upper filter pad is located on the top of the edge step 20 on and is therefore in the brewing position between the edge stage 20 and the push-up bar 16 , In this closed brewing position, hot water from a pump not shown in detail is connected via a connecting line and the water connection 8th the valve part 5 fed. The pressure of the water becomes the spring 14 by means of the valve ball 13 compressed, the valve ball 13 releases from its valve seat and a water inlet to the brewing chamber 18 allows. Depending on the design of the nozzle plate 19 and the pump can be in the brewing chamber closed to the environment 18 in a brewing device used in a low-pressure coffee machine 1 a Brühdruck between 1.2 and 2.0 bar, preferably 1.5 to 1.8 bar, are constructed. The coffee pads are first moistened by the water and in the further course flows through the brewing water, which at the nozzle plate 19 from the brewing chamber 18 exit and over the expiration 26 and the spout 28 from the outlet or spouts from the brewing device 1 is delivered. The support plate 23 is in the area under the brewing chamber 18 the end 26 tilted to ensure a safe and complete flow of coffee. After a certain, adjustable period or a funded amount of water, the pump is switched off again and thus the brewing process ended.
  • After the end of the brewing process, the brewing chamber 18 by pivoting back the handle 36 be opened again. When swinging back the handlebar 36 becomes the upper brewing chamber part 2 moved upwards in the axial direction because of the guide bar 32 from the hook 34 is encompassed. The hook 34 transmits the by the rotational movement of the operating part 32 induced axial movement in the direction of the open position over the guide bar 32 on the press-on part 31 and thus on the upper Brühkammerteil 2 , It is therefore the pivoting movement of the handle 36 about the axis A and the associated rotational movement of the operating part 33 an axial lifting of the pressure plate 7 caused.
  • In the open position, not shown, the conical locking pins are 41 from the locking holes 43 of the filter carrier 3.1 moved out and release this. The printing plate 7 is also so far moved up that the Aufdrücksteg 16 above the lower edge of the insertion opening 4.1 located. In this open position, the filter carrier 3.1 along with the used, moistened by the brewing water coffee pads with the help of the handle 22 like a drawer from the slot 4.1 be pulled out. After removal of the coffee pads from the recording 17 can the filter carrier 3.1 for another brewing be refilled with coffee pads, or unfilled in the insertion opening 4.1 be pushed back.
  • But in the following a simple coffee portion, z. B. with a different type of coffee or a decaffeinated coffee, are produced, so the filter carrier 3.1 be turned around so that the recording 17.1 now at the top. In the recording 17.1 Then a single coffee pad is inserted so that the sealing edge of the coffee pad on the edge stage 20.1 rests. Now the filter carrier 3.1 back into the slot 4.1 inserted. Subsequently, with the help of the handle 36 the actuating part 33 moves, causing the pressure plate 7 together with the press-on part 31 is moved down until the Aufdrücksteg 16 on the sealing edge and the marginal stage 20.1 imprints. At the same time drive the locking pin 41 in the locking holes 43 that also on this side of the filter carrier 3.1 are arranged. The conical design of the locking pin 41 ensures that even when not fully inserted filter carrier 3 the locking pins 41 nevertheless in the locking openings 43 engage and during the closing process the filter carrier 3.1 Pull or press in the correct position. The force generated by the operation of the handle 36 and the lifting mechanism is applied is so large that a sufficient seal of the brewing chamber 18 by pressing on the ring seals 15 and 25 brought about.
