Abstract
The road marking line renewal device has an application device (5) below a vehicle (6) for applying a new marking line to the road surface, adjusted transverse to the travel direction of the vehicle via a setting device (2), under control of an evaluation and control unit (4) receiving signals from a camera (1) scanning the road surface and a vehicle movement measuring system (3), having a rotation measuring system (7), for detecting the rotation of the vehicle about an axis perpendicular to the travel direction. An independent claim for a method for renewing road markings is also included.
