Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein zur Vibrationsdämpfung dienendes Ausgleichsgewicht für einen Bremsbelagträger.The invention relates to a vibration damping Balance weight for a brake pad carrier.
Ausgleichsgewichte für Bremsbelagträger der in Rede stehenden Art, bspw. für Scheibenbremsen eines Kraftfahrzeugs, sind bekannt. So werden massiv ausgeformte Gewichte zur Absorption von Vibrationen und Geräuschen außen auf die Grundplatte der Scheibenbremsbeläge aufgebracht. Diese Problematik ist zunächst und im Wesentlichen durch den Gegenstand des Anspruchs 1 gelöst, wobei darauf abgestellt ist, dass in dem Ausgleichsgewicht ein abgeschlossener Hohlraum ausgebildet ist, in dem frei bewegliches Füllmaterial, wie etwa Sand, aufgenommen ist. Zufolge dieser Ausgestaltung ist ein Ausgleichsgewicht für einen Bremsbelagträger geschaffen, welches sich durch eine verbesserte Absorption von Vibration und Geräuschen auszeichnet. So verringert das frei bewegliche Füllmaterial in dem Ausgleichsgewicht durch seine Trägheit bei auftretenden Schwingungen die Geräusche und Vibrationen. Die Füllung des abgeschlossenen Hohlraums des Ausgleichsgewichts kann bspw. Sand, insbesondere feiner Sand, sein, so weiter bspw. solcher, wie er in elektrischen Sicherungen Verwendung findet. Das Ausgleichsgewicht weist einen abgeschlossenen Hohlraum zur Aufnahme des Füllmaterials auf, wobei das Ausgleichsgewicht topfartig mit einem unlösbar befestigten Deckel ausgebildet sein kann. So ist das Ausgleichsgewicht aus einem Massivwerkstoff, wie bspw. einem Stahlwerkstoff gebildet, wobei durch Aufdrehen bzw. Aufbohren ein Innenraum zur Bildung des Hohlraumes geschaffen ist. Dieser Hohlraum wird mit einem unlösbar befestigten Deckel verschlossen, wobei letzterer mit dem Topfrand verpresst sein kann, wonach der Hohlraum gegen eindringende Feuchtigkeit und gegen Verlust des in diesem frei beweglich angeordneten Füllmaterials verschlossen ist. Weiter kann diesbezüglich vorgesehen sein, dass der Deckel unter plastischer Verformung des Deckels und/oder des Topfrandes mit dem Topfteil verpresst ist. So kann bspw. weiter der Hohlraum mit einem Deckel in einer Pressfassung sitzend verschlossen sein. Alternativ kann der Hohlraum auch mit einem übergestülpten und hiernach verpressten Deckel verschlossen sein. Auch wird vorgeschlagen, dass im Zuge des Verpressens gegen eine konvexe Wölbung des Deckels gearbeitet wird. Hierbei ist der Deckel zunächst gewölbt. Nach Einlegen in den Hohlraum-Öffnungsbereich wird der Deckel unter Verringerung der Wölbung verpresst, womit der Deckel hierdurch in dem hülsenartigen Topfteil gehaltert ist. Alternativ wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Deckel mit dem Topfrand lösbar verbunden ist. So kann bspw. der Deckel mit dem Topfrand verschraubt sein, ähnlich einem Schraubverschluss. In einer beispielhaften Ausführungsform ist an dem Topfrand ein Außengewinde ausgebildet, das mit einem, ein Innengewinde aufweisenden Schraubkragen des Deckels zusammenwirkt. Wesentlich hierbei ist insbesondere der gegen Feuchtigkeit schützende Verschluss des Hohlraumes. Das Ausgleichsgewicht kann in einfachster Weise an dem Bremsbelagträger bzw. an der Grundplatte des Scheibenbremsbelags angeklebt sein. Bevorzugt wird jedoch eine Lösung, bei welcher das Ausgleichsgewicht formschlüssig an dem Bremsbelagträger festgelegt wird, so bspw. mittels Verschraubung. Hierzu ist an dem Topfboden ein Halterungszapfen angeformt, welch letzterer bevorzugt ein Außengewinde aufweist, zur Zusammenwirkung mit einer Gewindebohrung in dem Bremsbelagträger.
