Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sight, with the help of an observer from closed or protected spaces, in particular armored vehicles that can observe the outside world or the surrounding area.
Different viewing means or systems are known, the simplest possibility being a viewing block. An observer can look outwards in a direct line through this sight. Another conventional sight is the so-called angle mirror, in which the view and the view are offset in height. The vision blocks or angle mirrors are made as solid blocks made of glass or other optically transparent materials, so that the observer is protected against massive external influences, in particular when used (splintering, shelling). The two systems that were previously used for a direct view to the outside (viewing block, angle mirror) determine the position of the observer in the vehicle due to the position of their outlook and, due to their design, the view. When using both a viewing block and an angle mirror, the observer must bring his eyes close to the view in order to have a sufficient field of view, ie the position of the sight and that of the observer are absolutely interdependent.

Weitere bekannte Sichtsysteme sind u.a. Other known vision systems are et al CCD camera systems or thermal imaging devices in connection with a display. These devices do not allow a direct optical view, but convert accordingly Signals electronically and put this information on one Display for the observer.
The object of the invention is to specify a sighting device which has a direct optical view independently of electrical / electronic Aid enables and a positioning of the observer to the sight means almost independent of the position of the view of the sight means.
The task is solved by the Features of claim 1.
The invention is based on the idea Separate a view from the view of a visual device in such a way that the positioning of the occupants or observers in an armored Vehicle etc. optimally chosen can be. This local separation takes place by means of a glass fiber bundle between the view and the view of the sight. The fiber optic bundle is at the view with a lens unit and at the view with one Eyepiece unit equipped. The glass fiber bundle is at least in some areas Rigid or fixed at the view and the insight, during the the area in between is kept flexible. On deflection systems and the same is waived. The lens unit is in one preferred variant integral part of the vehicle wall, so no additional conventional sighting means needed become.
In the lens unit is in one another embodiment, a glass pane located in front of the lens combined with a wiper / washer and heater. The Lens itself can be selected this way that the opening angle can be set constant or variable. In continuation of the Invention is provided, the lens unit about its vertical axis as well as to attach their transverse axis pivotably. Furthermore, a depth of field of the The objective can be adapted to the observation task, the wrapping of the glass fiber bundle also Adapted to operational requirements can be.
The length of the fiber bundle is variable in many areas and only by the required brightness the one to be transferred Image limited, which transferred true to the page and preferably on a scale of 1: 1 becomes.
The eyepiece unit is designed so that the eyepiece can be adapted to the visual acuity of the observer. This eyepiece unit is connected to a carrier which the observer can pull over his head like a cap. This has the advantage that the observer's head is independent can move to a certain extent from the vehicle housing without having to interrupt the observation process. In addition, the flexible arrangement allows the viewer to be easily adjusted to different body sizes and the observer to adopt an individual and comfortable sitting position.
Another resulting benefit is that the sight is not used on the vehicle roof, for example Can be stowed, keeping it out of the observer's range of motion is taken out. Furthermore, the integration of the sight is in the vehicle / in the vehicle wall designed so that the sight protected installed and the ballistic protection of the vehicle is not impaired. A deliberate destruction the sight is almost impossible because the sight from the outside is hardly visible.
The sight can be monocular or executed binocular his.
Using an exemplary embodiment with a drawing the invention is intended to be closer explained become.
